Creditor's Rights Law

Creditors who are owed money by debtors have the right to collect what is owed them under creditor's rights law. When a debtor doesn't pay what they owe, a creditor may choose to deal with the failure to pay either inside or outside the court system. At Harrison Law Group, our attorneys represent a wide array of creditors, including small businesses and individuals. We handle everything from asset recovery, including actions to recover property for secured creditors, to collections, which includes negotiating partial satisfactions of judgments, garnishments and liens, and seizure of assets. Harrison Law Group attorneys also have extensive experience in asserting the rights of both secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy actions, including the prosecution and defense of preference actions, priority claims, and adversary proceedings.
