Matt Gerrish is an Associate Attorney in the Baltimore office of Harrison Law Group.
Matt focuses his practice on commercial litigation and business counseling with an emphasis on construction law and the legal needs of construction firms.
Since joining the firm, Matt has represented owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and sureties on issues involving actual and constructive suspensions of work, change order, extra work latent defect, workmanship and warranty claims, payment and performance bond claims, mechanics’ liens, defective, differing site conditions, construction and design defects, and bid protests.
Matt has experience with an array of construction projects ranging from commercial distribution warehouses, high-rise hotels and resorts, multi-family housing, commercial office buildings, highways, parking garages, and residential and commercial condominiums.

Matt received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. Matt attended law school at the University of Maryland School of Law in Baltimore, Maryland, where he received his law degree in 2009.
Matt was previously employed by Harrison Law Group as a Law/Student / Law Clerk. In addition, Matt also worked as a Summer Law Clerk for Kramon & Graham, P.A. and as a Paralegal for Steptoe & Johnson, LLP.
