Zach received his B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2015.  He attended law school at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 2018.  After law school, Zach clerked for the Hon. Michael W. Reed in the now-Appellate Court of Maryland.  Prior to joining Harrison Law Group, Zach practiced commercial litigation, with an emphasis on construction law, at Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, P.C. in Baltimore, Maryland.

Zach assists clients in all stages of the construction process, with a focus on litigation and alternative dispute resolution. He has experience representing project owners, developers, design professionals, contractors, and subcontractors in matters involving claims regarding breaches of contract, scope of work disputes, project delays and disruption, and final payment.  Zach has also assisted his clients in navigating land use and zoning issues that arise in the construction process. In addition to his construction practice, Zach has represented clients in general commercial litigation disputes, including those involving the enforceability of non-compete and exclusivity agreements.

Zach is married and has two children.  In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and traveling with his family. He is an avid sports fan and a die-hard Tar Heel.
